Fellow alumni,
I’m looking forward to a great year as we grow this alumni association. Organization, communication, participation, and more local events are going to be key to our growth. Accordingly, we have planned our beginning calendar of events for 2012. Here are the current scheduled events for the coming year (mark your calendars):

- Friday – Sunday, April 20th-22nd: Spring Game (Blacksburg)
- Blowout at the House Friday night
- Tailgate before and after the game on Saturday
- Game is at 4 PM
- Post-game event to be announced
- The active chapter’s two alumni chairmen and I will be planning this weekend all semester, so this weekend should be awesome.

- Parties at the House on Friday and Saturday nights
- Golf Tournament at the Hill in Blacksburg Saturday morning and afternoon
- Brunch in town Sunday morning

- Bar night in DC (Location TBD) Friday night
- Massive tailgate with alumni and undergrads Saturday pre-game
I would like to thank Mark Moore, Gina Miller, and Wesley Shaw for getting the organization moving in Richmond. This type of event will spark demand for future events. More local events, 2013 White Rose, and Fall 2012 football events will be announced throughout the coming months as this organization snowballs and details are planned. All home football games will have a planned social event at either the House or a tailgate location starting this Fall (so no alumni come back to an empty House again). Please forward this to your fellow brothers who you can get into contact with, especially those in the metro DC and metro Richmond areas, and send me their contact information.
If you have any questions, ideas, or the like, please feel free to call (703-344-1769) or email me.
Let’s start reliving college again!*
Fraternally,
Trevor Gingras
